NHS 'robust' after cyber-attack

A total of 48 NHS trusts were hit by Fridays’s cyber-attack, of which all but six are now back to normal, Home Secretary Amber Rudd has said.

The government emergency Cobra committee met on Saturday afternoon to discuss the attack.

“We’ve talked about how we can make sure the NHS remains robust, that patients are put first,” she said.

Ms Rudd added that it was an “international attack”.
